about tammie
you’re tired of feeling stuck, and you know you’re meant for more
In the past, you were able to motivate yourself to get it done, but now you feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.
I’m life and business coach tammie bennett and I’ll help you go from overthinking to action.
i get it. i was right where you are.
I spent thousands of dollars on self help books, manifesting apps, new journals, productivity courses, personal development, and time management classes trying to figure out how to get myself to do the damn thing. I beat myself up every night as my head hit the pillow, telling myself I didn’t do enough. I knew I was wasting my potential.
I had previously been a self-motivated, high-achiever. I won state championships, made good grades in gifted classes, graduated with honors from law school.
But here I was, spinning my wheels, not taking action, not even sure of what I wanted to do with my life. I thought there was something wrong with me.
sound familiar? here’s the thing:
There is nothing wrong with you. You just weren’t taught the right tools.
imagine going to bed tired from making progress on your goals, instead of being exhausted from putting out fires all day.
imagine carrying a lightness in your chest because you showed up for yourself and did what you said you would.
For the last 18 years, I’ve helped people accomplish more than they ever thought possible, and they do it with more fun and less burnout. I can help you, too.
Once you learn the tools I’ve used in my own life and with hundreds of people, you will feel so much more confident and clear as you make progress towards your goals. Not sure what your goal is? I’ll help you figure that out.
getting things done can feel easy, focused and fun
I combine my skills from owning a product-based business, a BA in journalism, a law degree, a master’s degree in sport psychology, and my 18+ years of coaching runners and creatives to help you get unstuck and take steps toward your goals. Even when it feels uncomfortable or scary.
here’s what sets me apart:
I have ADHD and I know how to help you work WITH your brain, not against it.
We build on what you are already doing well, rather than focusing on all the things you are doing “wrong.”
I never judge you, and you will always feel safe and not alone.
I am direct but full of love. I will call out your brain’s BS, and we will gently laugh about it instead of shame it.
I have a deep belief that you are capable of even more than you imagine, and I will lovingly fight for you and your goals.
I trust you to know what’s best for you, and I honor that.

ready to take action, but don’t know where to start? that’s where i come in.
when you hire me as your coach, this is what we do together:
get focused
I help you get really clear on a goal that matches with your passion and purpose. You know what you want to do and you won’t be scared to say it out loud, no matter what others think.
create a doable plan
We create a plan for how to make it happen. I help you break it down into tiny, doable steps, so it’s easier for you to show up. You’ll feel really good about doing it YOUR way and you’ll trust yourself to make decisions.
get unstuck
When the self-doubt creeps in (and it will), I’ll be there to help you keep going. When setbacks happen (because they will), I’ll help you not trash-talk yourself so you’ll have more energy to keep trying.

my values and beliefs:
I believe in treating all humans with respect, care, and compassion, regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, immigration status, or any other factors. If you do not believe in inclusion or equal rights, or if you support the current US administration, we are not a good fit.
The way to self-improvement and change is through talking more kindly to ourselves, rather than more harshly.
I help you strive for sustainable success, not burnout.
We should all seek out more joy and fun.
Productivity does not determine your worth. You are a whole gorgeous human right effing now, even if you haven’t done a single thing today.
Curiosity can solve so many problems. Ask questions without judgment.
We rise by lifting each other up.
Scheduling, planning, and clarity help solve productivity issues. So does breaking big tasks into tiny ones.
I value authenticity, honesty, creativity, and a try-it-and-see attitude.
I do not value AI and do not use it for anything other than providing transcripts of my podcasts and course materials.
